What Can Your Grandkids Teach You!

Three of our grandkids are teenagers. Being grandparents to teenagers is quite different than being grandparents to younger children. And these 3 lived out of state for about 7 years! So, when they got back and were all settled, my husband decided that he wanted to spend time with his teenage grandkids and get re-acquainted with them. He had a brilliant idea! He asked each of them to teach him something they like to do!

First he contacted our son and asked when a good time would be for him to go over there. Then he asked each grandkid to be ready to teach him something when he got there. He was not disappointed!

The oldest grandson taught my husband how to play a favorite video game. Me and my husband don't play video games much and when we do, it's pretty bad! So, this was a perfect thing for our grandson to teach him.

Our granddaughter taught him how to make balloon animals! We had no idea she even knew how to do that!

Finally, the other grandson taught my husband how to program a simple game using Scratch. Our daughter used to use that site when she was younger, but we certainly didn't know how to use it.

This activity turned out great! I have to hand to my husband. It was a great idea and something he can do again and again!
